A few months ago, Miguel S. in our transitional living residence program was commissioned by the Lehigh County CYS Board of Directors to create artwork to be displayed in their Cozy Cottage.
The cottage is a place for parents to spend time with their children as they work through the court system to regain custody. Rooms are brightly decorated and comfortable for visiting families.
Today, Lehigh County CYS hosted an unveiling ceremony for Miguel’s artwork. He was presented with a certificate and a new portfolio for his artwork. He spoke to a group of about 25 for a few minutes about his inspiration for the piece.
We are all so proud of Miguel!
