Yesterday we were visited by Kozloff Stoudt Attorneys as they delivered Angel Tree gifts to help bring cheer to youth in our care this Christmas.
Bethany Children’s Home is especially close to the hearts of Attorneys Julia Adams and Andy George. Julia’s grandfather, Rev. Dr. Garnet O. Adams, was the Superintendent of BCH for over 30 years from 1954 to 1985.
Julia’s aunt, Dr. Betsy Adams, grew up there with her siblings and is our first female President of the Board.
Julia’s father, District Attorney John T. Adams, and their family have many wonderful memories and stories of their years at Bethany Children’s Home. Attorney Andy George worked at here full time as a child care worker for a year before law school and then throughout law school for the next 3.5 years. He has many great memories of Bethany as well.
Julia and Andy shared a few stories with our CEO Dr. Joseph Birli when they dropped off their gifts.
