Bethany youth enjoyed their first “Movie, Munchies & Making” event on Saturday.
With Art Instructor Michelle Kissinger, they watched a movie about the challenging life and evocative art of Frida Kahlo, Mexican painter and wife of Diego Rivera.
During a discussion of the movie, one of the youth exclaimed, “Frida is my spirit animal! She didn’t let anything keep her from doing what she loved.”
